The Northern Bedford County Board of School Directors authorizes the employee computer purchase program. The members of the board realize the benefits to students and the school of this computer purchase program. Essentially, you may purchase a computer system to a cost of $3,500 to be billed to the school district. The district will pay the invoice, and then, by written agreement with the employee, deduct payment over either 12 or 24 months from your paycheck. The employee will be required to pay any sales tax.
A Computer/Accessory/Software Purchase Agreement form may be picked up in the Business Office.

Dell Computer Corporation has a Faculty and Staff Purchase Program as well.
Dell offers a 5-10% discount on all consumer machines (Dimension desktops and Inspiron notebooks). 5% discount on all consumer machines with a 1 or 2 year warranty and 10% discount on all consumer machines with a 3 or 4 year warranty (on-site). In order to receive these discounts, you may either call or go online to order. The Phone number is 1-888-973-3355. You can reach sales, technical support and customer service through this phone number. You may also call a sales rep for a pre-sales questions and quotes. You can reach a sales rep Monday-Friday, 7 am - 9 pm CST.
If you choose to go online, simply click on the above Dell logo, you will be directed to the login screen for our employee purchase program. You will need the NBC School District Member ID. You will need to email or phone Teri Biddle to receive this ID number. It was emailed to you but if you misplaced it, please call or email her at tbiddle@nbcsd.org.
